I was unable to post some photos from 12/30 and 12/31 mostly due to exhaustion. We've been hiking and driving in a combination of bad weather and just amazing snow vistas, and while the latter may not seem so bad, it really takes it out of you. Hiking in snow...let me tell you... not something I will be doing often.

Anyway, during our trek, we came across some really cool houses that are built into the rockbed or covered in dirt mounds.

These were just on the way over to Skogafoss, an incredibly large waterfall on the southern side of Iceland.

And then we got to Dyrhólaey. This place was almost majestic. I mean, take a look (the view speaks for itself):
