I'm not going to talk much here, but instead just say this: The auroras the night of January 2nd and morning of January 3rd were incredible. Clear and strong enough to be photographed by an iPhone right next to the moon. I'm not going to post it because it was a crappy image, so just take my word for it.
A few of these may look very similar, but they aren't. The auroras move and "dance" very quickly, making each photograph unique...
